My office chair keeps dropping down, squatting down, when I sit on it. How would you fix it?

Height adjustment is not enough. It is a standard hydraulically operated height swivel chair with five wheels. I have five one-inch hose clamps purchased from auto parts store. I have all five terminals on the chair so that the important enlargement of bright silver metal posts that sit on the chair, it keeps it from pulling back or on the squat. I did this about six months ago and is still perfect. only other way is to replace the chair, they are not designed to be repaired Well done Mr fix it, right in line with my thoughts. I thought about buying PVC pipe, cut to length, split in two and two clips, but you do well without the tube.
